Worldwide Budhism

It's been 25 years since I first came to overseas to propagate the Dharma. And in this auspicious day of Lhabab Duchen (the anniversary of Buddha Shakyamuni's descent from Heaven),  masters and Venerables  representing the three major traditions in Buddhism e.g. Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana, gathered together to witness and celebrate, in this auspicious day - the grand opening ceremony of the Tara Meditation Centre. Honorable guests are: the most Venerable Master Jingyao (Chairman of the Buddhist Association of the Republic of China), Bhante Mingfa (representing the Sri Lankan Theravada tradition) and other representatives and leaders from our centre. A press conference was held, and the guests were invited to deliver their welcoming speeches. It's always my sincere wish that the three traditions of Buddhism could unite and help each other, hand-in-hand and heart-to-heart. Let's us all  work together and support each other to propogate the Dharma, to bring peace and joy to the world, and to benefit all mother sentient beings -  for the highest benefits, liberation and perfect awakening of all!!  The wonderful opening ceremony was concluded with a graceful Vajra Dance of the Great King Gesar, by the name of 'great Joy'.  Sarva-mangalam -- May it be auspicious for all!!
